• Facilitated efficiency improvements by automating lengthy processes utilizing PowerShell and PowerCLI including automatically generating datastore reports, the creation and removal of snapshots as well as bulk changes to AD and Exchange.

IT/ISP Engineer (2014 - 2016) Ogi Ltd - Cardiff, Wales. United Kingdom

Delivering administration of Net Support UK’s suite of private cloud hosting services and public cloud offerings, which included Microsoft Azure, Office 365, 3CX PBX and managed IT. Participated in the transition of key clients into public cloud-based solutions.

Achievements:

• Successfully delivered completed a deployment of over 200 Windows 7 PCs and laptops on a tight schedule without a supplied WDS server, by developing my own DISM scripts this was completed ahead of schedule.

• Lead on improving datacenter resiliency through the deployment of additional UPSs and a generator to sustain through a 24-hour grid outage.

Service Desk Technical Analyst (2014) CGI Inc - Bridgend, Wales. United Kingdom

Providing outsourced IT support to University College London Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, one of the largest National Health Service bodies in the United Kingdom. Joining the team at a critical time as the Trust was migrating from Windows XP to Windows 7, the role involved troubleshooting and supporting critical NHS applications such as clinical documents, patient records, emergency room systems and medical imaging software in addition to Microsoft Exchange and Active Directory helpdesk requests.

Achievements:

• Quickly became one of the team’s top performers in tickets resolved and customer service ratings which was evidenced by CGI rapidly increasing contracted hours within weeks of starting on the helpdesk.

• Gained experience working in a critical environment where lives were on the line, developed an ability to remain calm under pressure and correctly handle escalations during significant incidents as well as clearly keeping clinical staff up to date under stressful situations.
